Press Release -
May 8, 2007

Microsoft Corporation has begun implementing a massive upgrade to
Hotmail, its web-based email solution, in hopes of matching the
offerings of competitors like Yahoo and Google.
The upgraded “Windows Live” email service, which has been beta tested
by millions of users over the past two years, is the biggest
improvement to Hotmail since it debuted in 1996, Microsoft claims.
New features include right-click and drag-and-drop capabilities for
easier email organization, as well as enhanced security features, and
a built-in interface for users of mobile devices.
