Samsung Unveils New EDGE Fashion Phone with Camera and Music Player

Korean cell phone manufacturer, Samsung Electronics, has teamed up with industrial furniture designer, Jasper Morrison, to create the Samsung SCH-E590, a new fashion-oriented handset.

The E590 is a tri-band EDGE-based device with a 1.79-inch 262k color display, multi-format music player, and 3.2-megapixel digital camera with auto-focus and video recording capability. It comes with 90MB of internal memory and will be available in “noble black” or “snow silver” color schemes.

The phone will begin shipping later this month to customers in Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. Pricing details were not immediately revealed.
