NBC2Go Brings Wimbledon to Verizon V CAST Mobile TV

Verizon’s V CAST Mobile TV subscribers will be able to follow the Wimbledon tennis championships from their wireless devices this year, on NBC’s mobile television channel, NBC2Go.

Coverage will begin tomorrow (June 30) at noon EST, and continue throughout the fabled nine-day tennis tournament.

“NBC Sports is committed to delivering the tradition and excitement of Wimbledon to our audience on all of our platforms,” said the senior vice president of NBC Sports & Olympics, Perkins Miller, in a prepared statement. “Now tennis fans will be able to watch Wimbledon wherever they are with our live broadcasts on NBC2Go.”

NBC2Go is available to V CAST Mobile TV subscribers in 30 U.S. markets, including New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, and Las Vegas.
