XConnect Wins Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award For Korean NGN/VoIP-Peering Federation

Company Honored Second Year in a Row

LONDON, June 17, 2009 – XConnect, the leader in Voice over IP (VoIP) and Next Generation Network (NGN) peering, today announced that it has received a 2009 Innovation Award from Global Telecoms Business magazine.

The award was presented to XConnect and the Korea Internet Neutral eXchange (KINX) in the IP Services Innovation category, for creating a national Korean NGN/VoIP-peering federation, which was announced in December and began operating in March.

The Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards are designed to honor innovative projects involving telecoms operators and service providers around the world, in association with their vendors and suppliers.
